The Global Fleet and Product team’s mission is to provide vehicles and services enabling Amazon to delight customers with last-mile operations. This role in the GFP team owns product strategy for electric vehicles across Europe, evaluating current and new EVs, setting up testing and evaluation processes, designing strategies for new products and partnerships, and establishing roadmaps with auto OEM partners.
Key job responsibilities:
* Define, prioritize and plan Electric Vehicle programmes/projects.
* Generate buy-in for the EU EV product vision with leadership and partner teams.
* Manage programme execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
* Work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and product management functions.
* Partner with third-party partners, including legacy OEMs and startups.
* Navigate innovative technologies to future-proof Amazon Logistics last-mile fleet.
* Create the vision and product roadmap to integrate new technologies into existing platforms.
* Own a full programme budget.
* Drive continuous improvement throughout the full lifecycle of EVs, leveraging in-field learnings.
A day in the life as a Senior Programme Manager involves driving and managing the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes. About the team: Amazon Logistics handles last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into customers’ hands. Our goal is to make customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible, rolling out global delivery solutions for new concepts like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
