There is an exciting opportunity to join our successful Glasgow Property & Casualty team as an Underwriter. As an integral member of the team your focus will be on profitable growth and technical excellence in building a World class service. With ambitious growth targets for 2025 and beyond you will be a key team player helping us to reach our goals. In this role you will underwrite, trade and build relationships in order to engender customer loyalty and achieve profitable growth in line with our ambition by;
* Providing excellent service to our customers
* Building and developing successful Broker relationships
* Being visible in the local market, you will thrive on face to face contact with brokers and end customers
* Achieving agreed financial and operational performance targets
* Collaborating+ strongly with other departments to achieve the Company's goals in respect of service delivery
Essential
* Experience in underwriting both Property and Casualty commercial insurance
* The ability to build, develop and maintain positive broker relationships.
* A good team player, supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
* CII Qualifications or a Commitment to progressing towards CII qualifications
* Support the wider teams by being proactive, enthusiastic and by challenging yourself to go out of your comfort zone.
* Provide suggestions to continuously improve the business in an ever-changing environment
