Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
Role Overview OFSTED REGISTERED MANAGER – SEMH Children’s Home
Lead a new children’s home for ages 7-17 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Build a strong team, ensure Ofsted compliance, and create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where children thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Safeguarding & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment and meet all Ofsted and statutory standards.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a motivated staff team. Drive high performance through regular supervision and support.
* Child-Centered Care: Deliver consistent emotional, physical, and therapeutic care. Promote education and social development.
* Operational Management: Oversee budgets, quality assurance, and daily operations to ensure smooth running of the home.
* Planning & Engagement: Manage admissions and transitions while working with families, social workers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications for the OFSTED REGISTERED MANAGER – SEMH Children’s Home role;
Essential:
* Registered Manager experience in children’s residential care.
* Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills.
* Experience with children’s emotional and behavioral needs.
* Preferred:
* Knowledge of therapeutic practices and trauma-informed care.
