About the role:
You will work on a night shift basis in a Children’s Home within South Powys. The home supports 4 children/young people aged 5-18 with behaviours associated with a learning disability, complex needs and autism. You will create a safe, healthy, learning, fulfilled home where children have their voices heard to achieve positive outcomes in their lives

What you will do:
You will work on a night shift rota to provide continuous care as part of team to the children and young people living in the home.
You will build positive relationships through nurture, teaching connection before correction with a patient and calm manner.
You will promote healthy and safe routines by creating a warm, inclusive home supporting the day care team through continuity and structure within the home at the start and end of each day.
Work in partnership with families and carers of young people in achieving the aims and objectives of the young people’s plans.
You will follow agreed policies, procedures, and legislative standards in your work. Always striving to keep up to date with best practice
