Head of Mechanical Fire Safety, Risley Derbyshire
Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Head of Mechanical Fire Safety based out of our Risley offices.
Basic Salary – £50-60,000
Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance, circa £575 per month

Responsibilities:
* Management and development of the Mechanical Fire Safety Department across the UK.
* Ensure installations and planned servicing is delivered within budget on time and in line with customer & quality expectations.
* Continuously improve delivery of Marlowe Mechanical Services and adopt best practice models.
* Enhance the profitability of the Mechanical Department by effective management and cost control.
* Contract review of all mechanical project files for technical and contractual elements.
* Ensure projects are delivered technically compliant, on budget, and on time.
* Provide monthly Service and work bank forecast working to achieve monthly budget.
* Selection and monitoring of sub-contract labour, direct resource and suppliers.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and sub-contractors for work planning.
* Attend site meetings and regional offices when required.
* Ensure Health and Safety Compliance.
* Ensure Environmental Compliance.
* Ensure regular compliance to 3rd Party BS/EN Audits.
* Develop and maintain the mechanical department folders.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a similar management role leading a team of Mechanical Engineers.
* Deep understanding of mechanical systems, with extensive experience in managing installations and maintenance.
* Customer focused with the ability to resolve customer queries.
* Excellent management and computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Capable of working effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
* Strong organisational skills.
* The ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic.
* The ability to work independently and a desire to learn.
