We are an MSP (Managed Services Provider) based in the beautiful location of Henley in Arden – just off J4 of the M42 - who provide first class proactive IT support and consultancy to a variety of businesses and charities based predominantly in the West Midlands. You will need to be keen to develop your skills so you can shine in our professional, yet fun and supportive environment. You will occasionally be required to visit customer sites so will need to be presentable, have a confident demeanour and a full clean driving licence (or learning to gain one). Key Duties: Answering incoming telephone calls to log details of support tickets Troubleshooting PC and Laptop issues, basic network connectivity issues & peripheral issues Set up and installation of new PCs and laptops Onboarding / offboarding new users and leavers Provide 1st line support for for incoming support calls, software and Operating systems Monitor and manage system health checks Maintain System documentation and carry out software upgrades Troubleshooting password and MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) issues Attributes you will need A willingness to learn new technologies and a passion for IT Energetic - Excellent trouble-shooter / problem-solver Organised with initiative and able to work independently Confident, well presented, and motivated A Professional but friendly team player Essential Skills Excellent troubleshooting and deadline meeting skills The ability to write and ensure technical documentation is kept up to date The ability to give first-class customer service The Reward The apprenticeship programme will provide a structured training plan delivered by a third-party Apprentice training organisation. This training will complement the on-the-job training you will receive from your colleagues at Synium – all of whom have worked in the IT industry for many years. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
