Job Title: Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Location: Covering Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent (not London)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair automatic gates, barriers, and related systems at client sites across Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent.
2. Ensure all installations meet safety regulations and company standards.
3. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with gates and barriers.
5. Carry out regular maintenance to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or potential risks.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in gate and barrier installations and maintenance (automatic gates and barriers preferred).
2. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
4. Full UK driving license (a van will be provided for business use).
5. A proactive approach to health and safety.
6. Experience using hand tools (specialist tools will be provided).
Offer Details:
1. Salary: £45,000 per annum.
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm (with a 30-minute break).
3. Holiday: 28 days of paid holiday per year, including bank holidays.
4. Overtime: Paid at the standard rate during the week and time and a half on weekends.
5. Van: A van will be provided for business use (fuel and maintenance included).
6. Tools: Hand tools to be provided by you; specialist tools will be supplied by the company.
Training & Development:
1. DHF Training: Ongoing training and certification through the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF), ensuring you are fully up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
2. NICE Training: Full support to achieve NICE (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) certification, allowing you to carry out electrical installations and maintenance to the highest standard.
