They are now seeking a driven, self-motivated and resilient Business Development Manager to join their recruiter sales team. The BDM will proactively manage a pipeline of recruiter prospects qualified against our ICP, self-generating leads through various channels and be responsible for the 360 sales cycle from lead gen through to new customer.
The role is default office, five days a week, so if working from an office is unattractive, then this is not the right opportunity
Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our recruiter customer base. You will be responsible for prospecting potential customers, aligning them with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and overseeing the full sales cycle from initial qualification to closing the deal and executing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research to identify and prospect potential customers who align with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in the recruitment industry.
Utilize various prospecting techniques, such as cold calling, email outreach, networking, and leveraging online platforms, to engage with potential customers and generate leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies, understanding their needs and pain points.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of the companys recruiter marketplace, highlighting the benefits and advantages of using the platform for recruiters.
Qualify leads by conducting needs assessments, understanding their requirements, and determining their suitability as potential customers.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the features and functionalities of platform to highlight its value to prospective customers.
Develop and present tailored proposals and pricing solutions based on customer needs, negotiating contracts and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Collaborate closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to onboarding and implementation.
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and maintain a competitive edge.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the Commercial Director.
Key Requirements
Proven track record of success in a similar business development or sales role preferably within the recruitment or HR industry
Strong understanding of the recruitment industry including knowledge of the challenges trends and best practices - preferred but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with and influence key decision-makers
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to effectively drive contracts to closure
Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools to manage and track sales activities
Goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
