Business Analyst – Asset Management/ESG essential
London 2-3 days per week, the rest remote working
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join Robert Walters as a Consultant. As an employed Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.
The successful candidate will join the Business Change function who are primarily responsible for regulatory changes impacting Asset Management but may cover other aspects of business change within the business. This role requires a Business Analyst with experience of Asset Management, ideally within the regulatory space and/or ESG.
You will investigate and analyse business situations, identify and evaluate options for improving systems and operations through eliciting and documenting requirements, and ensuring the effective implementation and use of information systems in line with the needs of the business. You will be experienced and competent in all aspects of business analysis and will be able to carry out business analysis on a wide range of issues using the full range of business analysis tools and approaches.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Able to operate in Waterfall, Lean, and Agile environments and fully able to formulate and consult on Business Requirement Specifications and Epics across identified Value Streams.
* Ideally, experience working with JIRA and ARIS is beneficial but not essential.
* Capable of conducting all aspects of business analysis and requirements management from the early stages of project inception, through to delivery.
* Able to work independently, managing their time and workload productively, but still able to contribute and collaborate within the Regulatory Portfolio Change Team, sharing knowledge and providing feedback and ideas.
* The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate drive and initiative and adopt a structured approach to their work using recognised tools and techniques.
* The role identifies and manages both internal and external stakeholders appropriately, according to their needs.
* Often taking the lead and is responsible for the delivery of business or change analysis.
* Able to confidently engage with the business in a constructive manner and be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders, including those in the Front Office as well as Legal, Compliance, Technology, and other support functions.
* Able to demonstrate competence in full project lifecycle, including roles and responsibilities of business stakeholders, solution and data architects, as well as development teams.
* ESG/Regulatory experience.
