The service provides payroll to over 45,000 employees for a diverse range of clients which include over 500 schools, district councils, academies and multi academy trust clients. The role of the Payroll Senior Officer is to support the Payroll Team in the efficient administration of a quality, accurate and timely payroll, and pensions function in accordance with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations. You will be part of a team providing a professional payroll service, working to strict monthly deadlines, and achieving monthly performance targets.
