Join this European market leader of products targeted at the foodservice and catering sector as a senior sales leader managing a team of eight people.
Sales Director role, managing a team of eight salespeople across a Southern UK region. Home based with lots of travel and time with your team. Working for a leading manufacturer of products in the catering and foodservice sector.
The role of Sales Director is a senior member of the UK team managing the performance of the sales and marketing function across a specified geographic area (South). Important elements of the role will include collaboratively leading and coaching the team, managing KPI’s, objectives and targets, and supporting the team in terms of their personal development.
To be successful in the role…..
1. You will have a number of years sales experience within foodservice operations/Chef experience or sales within a food/catering industry business
2. As a sales leader you will have management experience including budget and target setting, motivating and managing salespeople, setting budgets, creating plans to meet budgets, and working your plan
3. You will need to demonstrate a record of sales achievement as an individual contributor as well as a manager of a sales team
4. Finally, you be enthusiastic and highly motivated and use these qualities to inspire, motivate, and positively affect your team and the regions performance
