Site information HMP Lindholme, located near Hatfield Woodhouse in South Yorkshire, it operates as a Category C men's prison with a capacity to accommodate 1,010 inmates. This facility, situated approximately 10 miles from Doncaster, stands on the site of a former RAF base, blending a rich historical background with its current role in the UK prison system What the role entails As a Construction Health and Safety Teacher, you will develop and deliver high quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus policies and procedure; supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector. What we need from you Ideally you will want to be a part of a team which has at its core a focus on improving lives and enabling and equipping learners to develop, grow and be equipped for a life of work and success. To be successful in the role of Construction Health and Safety Teacher, you will need to: Have a background in Construction and awareness of Health and Safety best practice within the Construction sector (2-5yrs experience is desirable, but not essential, dependant on qualifications and nature of the experience). Hold an IOSH or NEBSOH Certificate Commit to gain a PTLLS accreditation within 6 months. Commit to gain a subject specific qualification to allow you to train to Level 3, within 2 years (if applicable). Commit to gain an assessor award required by relevant Awarding Bodies, within one year (if applicable) Hold at least a Level 1 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE) or be willing to commit to gaining the qualification(s) within 1 year.
