Due to maternity leave cover an opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the MSK Outpatient team at Newark Hospital.
This is an exciting time for the team as we are now part of the MSK Together service, which centres around putting the patient at the core of their care and is built upon the principles of shared decision-making. The model and pathways are designed to optimize their experience of the MSK pathway while also delivering the best clinical outcomes, and physiotherapy is at the heart of the care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessment & Treatment: Provide necessary skills and expertise in the assessment and treatment of patients with diverse or complex and chronic presentations/multi-pathologies in a range of orthopaedic conditions.
• High-Quality Care: Ensure the provision of high-quality, effective physiotherapy intervention to support the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
• Interventions: Deliver high-quality physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and orthotic interventions for inpatients and outpatients to facilitate health gain and maximize functional ability.
• Training & Education:Train and educate physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medical, nursing, and other professional staff/students as required.
