Supporting development : Help students build the key skills they’ll need as they approach the transition to Key Stage 2 and prepare for secondary school. Creating a dynamic classroom : Foster an atmosphere where learning is fun, collaborative, and inspiring, encouraging students to take ownership of their education. Tracking progress : Regularly assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback, setting clear goals to help each child reach their full potential. Teamwork : Work closely with other teachers to share ideas, best practices, and ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and creatively. Communication with parents : Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them updated on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns to support students’ growth. Professional involvement : Engage in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide activities to keep growing as an educator. Who We’re Looking For A passionate and qualified Year 5 Teacher with experience teaching in Key Stage 2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A deep understanding of the National Curriculum and how to bring it to life in Year 5. A teacher who loves working in a team-oriented environment, sharing ideas, and creating engaging lessons together. A positive communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
