The opportunity
Due to continued sustainable growth of the company, Johnston Shopfitters UK Limited are recruiting for the role of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager to join our team delivering fast track shop fit / fit out projects nationwide across the UK.
Predominantly based at our Doncaster office whilst offering on-site support across the UK supporting our site management teams nationwide.
Role purpose
To offer strategic and technical support to the directors, ensuring the safe delivery of construction projects for the company, overseeing compliance, and ensuring HSQE processes are kept to standard.
Technical support on all health and safety aspects including building safety, building regulations duty holder compliance across all projects, sites and offices.
Support all colleagues on Health & Safety matters to ensure the Company not only complies with its statutory obligations but helps to cultivate a site culture that promotes trust, learning and reporting at all levels.
Key Accountabilities
* Strong management and guidance of HSQE.
* Managing quality – zero defects.
* Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
* Report regularly on all HSQE issues and solutions.
* Ensure the highest level of HSQE management and ensure standards for the project team.
* Develop HSEQ reporting procedures.
* Manage HSQE induction and monitor outputs.
* Provide proactive technical support to project team to overcome project problems but also enhance and develop individual’s skill sets.
* Ensure project records are comprehensive and up to date.
* Actively promote JSF values promoting fairness, inclusion and respect with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
Skills & Experience
* Have a strong track record within Health and Safety and have your NEBOSH diploma.
* Evidence of strong interpersonal and people management skills are essential.
* You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in project/programme health and safety management, delivering works against challenging deadlines.
* Team player willing to assist as required.
* Extensive knowledge and awareness of health, safety, and environmental procedures, practices and legislation.
* Good customer relationship skills.
* Are able to hold people accountable and challenge individuals of all seniority throughout the business.
* Enjoy identifying continuous improvement actions and taking them through to completion.
* Attitude: characterised by enthusiasm, commitment to personal and project success.
* Proactive, diligent, able and willing to think ahead.
* Ability to communicate positively and effectively.
* Structured, focused, thorough approach with a high level of attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year.
