Job Description
Looking for experienced Dairy Service Technician willing to work in a fast-paced farm environment. Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends, and rotate the "on-call" schedule. Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, take direction, and have a clean driving record. Position requires standing or walking, lifting, and bending. Salary is dependent on experience. Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked in the week.
Paid Health, Vision, & Dental Insurance premium for employee, Retirement, & PTO after 90 days.
Responsibilities
* Repair, install, and service dairy equipment.
* Perform routine maintenance as needed.
* Call on local customers for maintenance, service, and/or repair.
* Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment.
* Provide programming, electrical, and/or HVAC support.
* Perform preventative maintenance on dairy equipment.
* Complete work orders including paperwork, invoicing, and manage truck inventory.
* Be willing to take 24hr calls on a rotation schedule.
Qualifications
* Electrical, HVAC, and/or PLC background.
* Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record, pass background and drug test.
* Must have a positive attitude, be punctual, and eager to learn.
* Must be passionate about meeting deadlines and objectives, willing to work hard and/or go the extra mile, work as a team, and strive to get the job done right.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
* Ability to handle physical workload.
Experience: 3+ years of applicable experience in Electrical, HVAC, and/or PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or programming. Experience in the dairy industry.
