Shape the Future of Visual Excellence: Join Our Franchise Team as a VM Manager and Drive Global Standards to New Heights Job Title: Visual Merchandising Manager Location: Bury HQ BL9 8RR/ Field Based Working hours: 40 hours per week What You'll Be Doing: As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you'll be doing the following: Vision & Change - Drive creative and commercial visual merchandising solutions, incorporating local trends while maintaining JD's corporate identity, and plan for new store openings and refits. Talent & People - You will lead, coach, and develop Visual Specialists and store management teams, identifying key individuals for growth and conducting regular training to elevate store standards. Communication & Culture - Ensure effective communication between Franchise Teams and Partners, providing clear feedback and supporting the alignment of visual merchandising with business goals. Collaboration - Work with partners, brands, and cross-functional teams to execute new retail opportunities, key campaigns, and store openings while maximizing sales and market presence. What We're Looking For: Having already gained extensive field knowledge you will be well-positioned to embrace this challenging management role. To succeed in this role you must have good presentation skills with the ability to carry out and implement tasks. This challenging and high-profile role demands a truly exceptional individual with excellent communication skills who can provide intelligent, articulate and concise feedback. Proven experience in training and developing teams is essential. A commercial individual with a creative personality who can establish effective visual solutions when required. An ability to deliver success through motivation and initiative ensuring all tasks are carried out punctually and to a high standard. This is a field-based role, therefore international travel and overnight stays will be required. Driving Licence required.
