More about the role:
As our Logistics Manager, you will be running the logistics operation for all the variety of events taking place across the venue. Moving equipment around and ensuring all the setups go smoothly and all events break down. You will be in charge of building back of houses fully equipped with industrial coffee machines, chilling rooms, and kitchen facilities. You will be responsible for any piece of heavy equipment leaving the warehouse.
* Reporting to the Deputy Head of Logistics & BOH, driving changes, improvements, and new processes
* Ensuring the storage, transportation and usage of the equipment is always in line with HSE methods
* Lead and manage the Logistics team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
* Responsible for the equipment stocktakes and all relevant financial outcomes
* Responsible to minimize any rental equipment losses
* Alongside the BOH manager, prepare monthly reports on shortages in china silverware and equipment and requisition replacements as required while following budget guidelines
About you:
* Experienced in leading the implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits
* Comfortable working within brand guidelines to deliver results
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills - able to influence all stakeholder levels
* Previous P&L accountability and evidence of commercial nous
* Exudes confidence, energy, and charisma
* Demonstrates flexibility and agility
* Calm and structured approach, coupled with resilience and problem-solving skills
* Entrepreneurial spirit
* Preferable forklift driving license holder
