A Vacancy has arisen for a Senior/Supervisor within our Residential Care Home.

As a Senior carer, you will show genuine kindness and empathy to our residents, making sure they are at the centre of everything you do.
The hours are:
1. 7.45am - 8.00pm
2. 8.00pm - 8.00am
3. All shifts include weekdays and alternate weekends
Minimum Requirements:
Must have 2 years' experience in adult health & social care. An NVQ in Adult Health & Social Care would be an advantage.
About the Role:
The Care Supervisor manages a small team of Care Assistants who are responsible for promoting and delivering a person-centred care and are mindful of each resident's care needs. Your expertise will help ensure that you meet the needs of our clients while maintaining high standards of care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of care plans and the healthcare landscape.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
* Managing and supporting a small team of Healthcare Assistants
* Providing direct care to residents involving washing, assistance with dressing, help with mobility and support with food and fluid intake.
* Providing ongoing support for the residents.
* Closely monitoring and reporting on residents' daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.
* Administering medication.
* Experience of updating and maintaining care plans and medication records.
About you:
* Ability to direct and lead a team of Health Care Assistants, providing direction and guidance as required.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with residents and staff at all levels.
* Ability to demonstrate a positive and resilient approach to work.
Salary: £14.30 for day shifts and up to £16.00 per hour for night shifts. All shifts include working alternate weekends together with weekday shifts.
