Salary: £85- £95 per day
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate to join a lovely school in Dorking. You will play a key role in supporting students with a range of educational needs, ensuring they receive the best learning experience tailored to their abilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your psychology knowledge in an education and training setting and make a positive difference to students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN
2. Assist in implementing personalized learning plans, adapting materials as needed
3. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Help track students' progress and offer feedback to teachers
5. Work closely with the SENCo and other staff to ensure effective learning strategies
Qualifications & Skills:
1. A degree in Psychology (or related field)
2. Experience with SEN students is a plus, but not essential
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
