Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130 bedroom hotel established in 2020. Situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport, we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed throughout the bar/bistro, one meeting room and a gymnasium. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, which is the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.
Job Description:
As the Hotel Kitchen Porter, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Kitchen Function in the delivery of unexceptional and magical dining experience to each of our guests.
Responsibilities:
Passion for Excellence: In line with legislation and the hotels policies and procedures, you will understand, implement and deliver the highest standards of legal compliance regarding to food safety, food hygiene and food allergens. Limiting possible cross contamination and risk to our staff and guests catering to all cuisine needs and wants.
Collaboration: You will support the kitchen function and the food and beverage team, where your excellent teamwork and joint goal of obtaining maximum customer satisfaction will create an enchanted dining experience for each and every guest.
Kitchen Representation: Taking satisfaction in creating a clean, hygienic and compliant working environment you will actively pursue tasks within the kitchen that meet the hotel standards and expectation. You will follow all guidance and seek confirmation where required regarding food handling, preparation and work station expectations.
Requirements
Prior experience in a similar role may be beneficial but not essential as full on the job training will be provided.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
A drive to work as part of a team to exceed expectations and promote the hotels brand and services.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7.
