We are
Gravity, we are the UK’s biggest name in active entertainment. Fun is our key
word, where our sites across the UK offer up to 30 activities from e-karting to
trampoline parks, high wall climbing to augmented reality bowling. We are now
looking for Management Accountant to join our team at our head office in
Wakefield.
What you’ll
be doing…
You will be
commercially minded; you will work closely with your peers providing financial
insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making. As a direct
report of the Financial Controller, you will oversee Pre Payments, Accruals,
Debits and Credits plus it would be great if you have experience of processing
payroll.
Your key
skills needed to succeed.
* Ideally you will have
proven accounting qualifications.
* Experience of working
within a larger organisation with large numbers of weekly transactions
* Payroll
processing experience would be great, especially experience of Access.
* We are looking for a
strong business partner, who can get under the skin of one of our business
units and make a real impact, advising, analysing, and looking for
efficiencies where possible.

Qualifications &
Training
* At least 4 years
commercial experience, with the last 2 working as a Management accountant
* Formal accounting
qualifications are necessary for this position.
* Previous experience in
taking full accountability for sign off of management accounts

* Able to maintain strict
confidentiality when dealing with business sensitive information.
Product
Knowledge
* Proficient with core
Microsoft software.
* A good working
knowledge of Access.
* Experience of Sage
payroll.
