Explore more at www.wearealchemy.com ROLE DESCRIPTION This new and exciting role requires an individual that is highly motivated with a passion for people and has the capability and experience to significantly contribute to the company’s performance by supporting people processes and solutions on multiple areas and overall workforce effectiveness in line with the business objectives and by ensuring compliance with local laws and legislations. Key Responsibilities Provides support to the business in the areas of Employee Relations, Employment Law compliance, Recruitment and Selection, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management and Process improvement, Performance Management. Manages administration for new hires and exits - i.e. issuing letters of offer for employment, contracts of employment, handling background checks, work visas, employee termination documents, exit interviews, and updating related systems and records. Takes part in the design and delivery of onboarding of all local and UK based regional/global roles. Provides required data for payroll processes, deals with employee queries about payroll. Manages employee relations issues (e.g., investigating employee and/or supervisor complaints regarding conduct, performance, or attendance, mediation between employees, monitoring diversity/equal employment, compliance, etc.) Ensures people guidance and support is delivered in compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws. Ensures all employees complete the relevant Health & Safety training and adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures. Provides monthly, quarterly, annual People analytics and makes judgments and recommendations based on analysis. Consults with managers to ensure the consistent application of and adherence to company people policies and procedures. Identifies and implements strategies that measurably improve employee engagement, wellbeing and retention. Coaches and consults with employees and people managers on each step of performance management process. Supports Learning & Development plans: identifies, develops, facilitates employee trainings accordingly. Plays a key role in the business building trusted partnerships through consultative and collaborative efforts. Strives for continuous improvement with process and procedures. Promotes an environment of diversity and inclusion and ensuring a consistent, equal, and fair treatment of all employees. Takes part in the execution of all people projects. Assists in any ad hoc activities. Undergraduate degree in a relevant field Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification / Employment Law Certification Demonstrated knowledge and experience across multiple people processes. Experience working across all levels of an organization with multi-cultural employees and proven ability to adapt to a variety of styles and circumstances. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Highly team oriented with a positive and collaborative approach. Professional and highly effective written and verbal communication capabilities Self-starter, results oriented, resourceful, and well-organized. Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and experience working with sensitive and confidential information. Ability to lead and teach others. Ability to deliver/facilitate training i.e. onboarding A willingness to travel occasionally when required. Any exposure to Eastern European Employment Law would be desirable, but not essential.
