The Practice Manager shall be responsible for improving the practices capability through the alignment of strategy, people, rewards, premises, IT, activity and management processes to ensure the efficient, effective and safe management of the Practice and its finances, and ensure the well-being of patients, doctors and staff, and the successful smooth running of the Practice. To manage and coordinate all aspects of practice functionality, workforce and financial planning, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and financial performance, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment. Through innovative ways of working, lead the team in Quality & Continuous Improvement, Confidentiality, Collaborative Working, Service Delivery, Learning and Development and ensure the practice complies with CQC regulations. To provide good quality, up to date primary care services delivered in a clean, suitably equipped and safe environment. To support patients to proactively manage long-term conditions, from birth through to the end of life. To provide all patients with good access to our team and appropriate access to other NHS services. To be welcoming and helpful and to treat all patients with respect and dignity. To encourage & support patients in developing good quality services through the patient participation group and patient feedback. To follow principles of good employment practice.
