You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and contribute to the auditing and accounting processes of our diverse client base. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in the preparation of audit plans and audit testing. Support the audit process by verifying assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation. Complete audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assist with the reconciliation of accounts and rectification of discrepancies. Prepare for audits by understanding the organization’s objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
