I am working with an established BMS Systems Integrator who is seeking a Senior BMS Sales Manager who is looking for a genuine opportunity to develop their career.
Be under no illusion, this is currently an active sales role. Whilst there are plenty of active customers, this is very much a 'Hunter' role, not just account management, and you will be expected to actively sell. The successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to progress to Director level in the future, with unlimited earnings potential.
This role forms a pivotal part of the succession plan for the business. Initially, this is still very much a targeted sales generation role, but there is a genuine opportunity for a progression route to Directorship with the business.
You will already be in the BMS Controls industry. There is a requirement to undertake pre-sales design and estimation of your own sales, so this is not something you can just transfer into. You are probably a senior player in your current business, but not a director and never will be. You may be the top-biller, or a close number 2 who has hit a glass ceiling with no progression route available.
You will be tasked with direct sales delivery, focusing on BMS maintenance contracts, additional works, and full projects to FM providers and end users, predominantly across the Southeast and Midlands but looking further afield too. There are a number of existing warm accounts that need a focus on targeted expansion, as well as a focus on New Business. As such, you will need a mix of skills and must be capable of nurturing existing accounts, developing brand new business, completing RFIs, undertaking pre-sales engineering and estimation, quoting, and winning works.
Geographically, there is a current tendency for the works to be in London, South East, and Midlands, but with scope for expansion.
