We are looking to recruit a Band 4 Team Leader for the Dermatology Waiting List Team.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to provide effective and efficient coordination and staff management for Dermatology based at the BRI, Bristol.
Main duties of the job
* The post holder will have a range of coordinating, administrative, and staff management experience, ideally in a hospital environment, though other experience will be considered.
* Working in a busy environment within a supportive team, we are seeking an individual who is able to demonstrate good leadership and team player qualities. You will need to manage and prioritise both your own and your team's workload appropriately.
* You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure and use your own initiative as required.
* Main responsibilities include clinic management regeneration, management of clinic rota coordination, overseeing outcome process/training, and team management.
* This post has contact with patients and healthcare professionals via telephone and Teams, so applicants must have excellent communication skills.
* The post holder must be comfortable using Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, with an understanding of a wide range of clinical systems effectively.

Person specification
Qualifications and Training
* Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths
* Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience
Knowledge and Experience
* Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception
* Previous NHS experience
* Experience of dealing with the public, both on the telephone and in person
* Experience of using a Patient Administration System
* Line Management Experience
* Knowledge of RTT and other performance targets
* Knowledge of Excel
* Knowledge of Project Management
Skills and Abilities
* Effective and polite manner when dealing with people, both face to face and on the phone
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy
* Ability to work effectively in a busy team, adjust to change, and motivate others
* Ability to work independently, managing own workload, whilst providing supervision and support to others
* Confidence to handle difficult conversations with patients, relatives, and carers
