Our well-established sheetmetal manufacturing client on Stafford Park, Telford is looking for an experienced Laser Operator to join their team on the day shift on a 12-week temp to perm basis working Monday to Thursday 06:30am-16:45pm at a rate of pay of £13.
An excellent opportunity with every Friday off as working Monday to Thursday ONLY.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Have laser operating machine experience, preferably with Amada, but all machines will be considered.
2. Be able to commit to day shift on a temp to perm reliable basis.
3. Be comfortable and confident working alone.
4. Be able to meet targets, fix minor issues, and report larger issues.
5. Complete paperwork.
6. Ensure jobs are clocked in and out correctly to ensure accurate tracking through CRM.
7. Work to OTIF.
8. Have two years or more experience working in a similar role and environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing sheetmetal business on a temp to perm basis with a full contract being offered after 12 full working weeks.
