Job Description
Your responsibilities:
1. Proven experience as a System Administrator, showcasing all-round skills in a range of platforms and technologies. This role is responsible for all our UK Internal IT infrastructure and Internal IT services.
2. Excellent network knowledge and skills, including; maintenance, troubleshooting of existing setups and the setup of new network environments/offices. Working with technologies such as MPLS, Meraki and classic Cisco equipment (or equivalent). An excellent understanding of networks technologies such as Wi-Fi, NAC, VPNs, ISE and WLC.
3. Excellent virtualisation/Azure skills, in VMWare (or an equivalent solution). Including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting virtual machines.
4. Creating and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate routine tasks, enhance system efficiency, working with the IT Support Analysts and streamlining processes.
5. Leading and participation in IT infrastructure projects and migrations, working closely with users, suppliers and Stakeholders.
Qualifications
6. CCNA or equivalent.
7. Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
8. Microsoft certifications.
9. Virtualisation certifications.
