My clients Insurance Broking Accounting (IBA) Team are a central department in the Company, maintaining close relationships with internal divisions and external trading partners. The team is responsible for ensuring prompt collection of premium, payment of claims/refunds, administration of ledgers for payments and receipts, and complete detailed analysis of uncollected premiums, cash, and funding.
Introduction
As an Established Technician, you will carry out tasks, routines, and procedures with moderate guidance. You will have developed a wider knowledge of policies and procedures, building your understanding of the insurance market as a whole and how it affects your work. You will be able to solve problems through the application of your own knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities
1. Document Creation - Complete standard document templates for distribution both internally and externally without errors.
2. Data Entry - Fully and accurately view, enter, amend, update, and submit data onto relevant systems.
3. Managing Information - Create and maintain electronic and paper files.
4. Departmental Reports - Review and update departmental reports, taking action as appropriate, in line with procedures.

Personal Skills
1. GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent).
2. Commitment to studying and achieving the Cert CII (usually via the level 3 apprenticeship route) within an 18-24 month period.
3. Ability to analyse and identify key information.
4. Ability to problem solve using knowledge of policies and procedures.
5. Effective communication skills.

8. Able to work under guidance rather than close supervision.
