New Forest District Council are on a journey of Digital Transformation to support our Future New Forest strategy which sets out how we will transform the council to meet our customer needs, protect finances and embed sustainability.
As an ICT Senior Analyst in our Applications Development team, you will play a pivotal role in improving our customer experience and reducing manual effort through the better use of technology and modern service design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the support, enhancement, development and implementation of assigned NFDC applications, providing expert technical advice to the Council.
Support our Digital Transformation programme and projects
Work closely with all ICT teams to continuously support and improve applications through proactive planned activities and reactive requests.
Design and implement IT solutions to enhance system performance and security.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related 2nd / 3rd line issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry.
Key Skills
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform including Administration, Configuration Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), productivity apps.
Experience supporting cloud and on-premise applications for 2nd and 3rd line support.
Experience developing solutions on the Microsoft 365 Power Platform.
Experience supporting SQL server and writing SQL queries.
Experience working with data and integrating systems.
Experience working on and technically leading projects.
Knowledge of ITIL and Agile
You’ll be joining a team who are playing a pivotal role in helping our services with their digital transformation through the technical delivery and support of a variety of modern software platforms.
