Key Accountabilities
Team Oversight: Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing and inspiring the restaurant team to deliver high-quality guest service and fulfil performance targets.
Guest Experience: Ensure every guest enjoys a welcoming and high-quality dining experience, addressing concerns and implementing improvements where needed.
Operational Support: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, stock management, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with standards.
Performance Management: Monitor and manage team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and assisting with development plans to support team members' growth.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure restaurant operations comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Problem Solving: Resolve any operational concerns quickly and efficiently to ensure seamless service delivery.
Training and Development: Facilitate ongoing training for team members, supporting them to enhance their skills and progress in their roles.
Requirements
-Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the Food and Beverage industry, such as Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, or similar.
-Proficient managerial and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
-High-level customer service skills and a guest-focused approach.
-Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.
-Organisational skills and proficiency in dealing with multiple demands to thrive in a demanding environment.
-Experience in scheduling, stock control, and resource management.
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
