A fast-growing fintech firm that operates in the global asset management and wealth management industry is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join their growing team. The firm is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to lead and extend relationships with our growing client base, with primary focus on asset managers. The CRM is a key role, helping onboard and implement clients systematically and helping them to utilise the the company platform to retain their service. The CRM will play a key role in renewals and upsells, helping negotiate deals that maximises value to both the client and the company. The firm was founded by asset and wealth management industry practitioners and aim to hire individuals who already understand our clients’ businesses and functions. The successful candidate must be self-starting, organised and collegiate, with excellent communication and presentation skills. They have clients across Europe, therefore the CRM may be required to travel to deliver in-person meetings with clients. The CRM must be ready to deal with a range of client roles in asset management and manager research firms, articulately explaining the the company proposition, providing platform demos/updates and managing any concerns, with client satisfaction always being the ultimate goal. The CRM will report into the Head of EMEA Sales & Client Relations and will be working alongside all internal teams to help drive strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities & duties: Maintain strong relationships with the company’s current asset manager clients, whilst also supporting the company’s asset allocator clients Build individual relationships within client firms (e.g. RFP, Sales/Distribution, Fund Analysts and Marketing teams) understanding differing user cases Onboard asset managers to the company’s platform, implementing and following up systematically Present to asset managers’ client-facing teams and provide platform demos, directing other the company colleagues to meet asset managers when required Ensure asset managers can be responsive to their clients (asset allocators) on the company and drive engagement Support Sales and other CRMs for both asset manager and asset allocator related queries Capture client feedback and work with the company’s technology team to develop new services and digital tools for our clients Help drive the company’s strategic initiatives, working alongside the company’s internal teams, and source potential new opportunities Required 3-5 years’ experience of working with clients in fintech or the investment management industry (preferably in Client Success, Business Development or Fund Research roles) An understanding of SaaS platforms and basic knowledge of the investment management industry, with curiosity to learn Strong project management skills – ability to translate client requirements into tangible actions, building clear plans and charting progress of clients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confident in building lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, liaising with all levels of authority, navigating cultural and user case differences Ability to negotiate and influence clients to achieve best results and retain their service Independent self-starter and motivated to improve processes for both the clients and internally, challenging the status quo Problem-solver with a pragmatic attitude to identify clear routes and processes to yield results Humble, team player that is flexible to support colleagues and work on other initiatives to help drive the company’s strategic goals
