The role involves providing a wide range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers, centralized around our local center in Cramlington.
What’s involved?
* Operating a variety of tanker units to carry out services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drains, while delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
* Carrying out surveys and operating high-pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
* Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and apps.
* Communicating effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues.
* Being part of an on-call rota to service clients 24/7/365 days a year.
What do we look for?
Suitable candidates will display a great working attitude along with skills in the clearance, cleaning, and repair of both internal small bore and external drainage systems.
Candidates will be considered suitable if they reside within Northumberland, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Durham or the surrounding areas (postcodes of NE, SR, DH).
* Experience in drainage is essential.
* HGV License required.
* Confined space certification is preferable.
* High-pressure water jetting experience is required.
* CSCS certification.
* Experience with CCTV surveys and lining is an advantage.
* A positive, flexible, can-do attitude is essential.
* Willingness to work occasional/unsociable hours.
* Full UK driving license is required.
