Your new role
Working within the existing team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
1. Inputting and processing all aspects of the monthly payroll
2. Processing HMRC notifications including but not limited to tax code changes and Student Loan notifications
3. Dealing with all direct employee/contractor payroll enquiries
4. Liaising with the HR Administration team and with HR managers regarding individual employee payroll/contractors queries and payments (including calculations for the purposes of assignments or secondments)
5. Calculating all aspects of monthly payroll including, and not limited to, SSP and SMP, GAYE, one-off payments, employee loans etc.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you should have a proven track record in processing a comparable sized payroll and be comfortable processing SSP, SMP, and gross to net manual calculations. Applicants should have previous experience of preparing reconciliations of general ledger accounts with experience in Accounting and Financial systems.
