Our client is a world leader in providing process solutions in the fields of powder and particle processing technology and blown film technology and have an opportunity for a motivated and professional Electrical technician to join their team.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities
* Manufacture control panel in accordance with manufacturing drawings
* Installing electrical equipment and instrumentation within the Hosokawa manufactured equipment and wiring back to Main control panels / Junction Boxes
* Testing of the Completed electrical Installation prior to in house function testing
* Finding and rectifying Faults on manufactured plant Equipment.
* Planned and Reactive Building Maintenance
Qualifications and experience
* Apprentice trained technician – holds a Formal Qualification in Electrical engineering
* Have 17th/ 18th Edition Qualification.
* City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 or 2 or NVQ Level 3 Equivalent.
* Inspection and testing City & Guilds 2391, 2391-52 or equivalent preferred
* Suitable candidate must have own tools.
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment. advantageous
* Strong Fault-finding abilities with PLC’s Inverters, Motors, an advantage.
Personal Characteristics
* Able to work well and co-operate with others in a team.
* Time management
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Competitive base salary £36- £40k (plus over time) with an additional overnight rate bonus.
38 hr week over 4 days, Monday to Thursday
20 days holiday going to 21.5 days after 5 years’ service, plus statutory bank holidays
