Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural projects, working closely with architects and engineers to bring innovative ideas to life. This position requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of system design principles.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with architects and project managers to develop detailed architectural drawings and plans.
* Utilise software such as ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and CAD to create accurate models and designs.
* Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
* Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project requirements.
* Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback on project developments.
* Employ graphic design skills to create visually appealing presentations for clients.
* Support the construction process by ensuring designs are implemented accurately on-site.
* Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design solutions.
Experience
* Proven experience as an Architectural Technician or similar role within the architecture or construction industry.
* Proficiency in design software including Sketchup, Grasshopper, SolidWorks, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, CAD, and Revit is essential.
* Strong understanding of system design principles and building regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail with a creative approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
* A relevant degree or qualification in architecture or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
