Is this your next opportunity? The role involves delivering top-tier technical support to all LDS Group employees through multiple channels, such as email and in-person assistance. This includes meticulously documenting all reported incidents, problems, and service requests within the designated service desk system. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive management and updating of ticket statuses, taking ownership of the entire ticket lifecycle from creation to resolution. They will effectively communicate and collaborate with personnel at all levels and adapt quickly to evolving requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues across various technologies and platforms is a key requirement. Manage the administration of identity platforms, including Okta, to set up user accounts and manage access permissions. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate personnel, while collaborating effectively and keeping end users informed of progress. Configure and build end-user devices quickly to enable deployment at scale. Perform daily maintenance, administration, and back up for a range of end-user devices, including laptops, mobiles, and tablets. Maintain asset register and ensure the availability of necessary equipment for loans or replacements at short notice. Contribute to the development of the Tech Ops knowledge base by updating both internal and customer-facing documentation. Mentor Junior Technicians and help foster an inclusive and collaborative environment that facilitates seamless tech support. Uphold best practices and policies to ensure the effective and secure use of all infrastructure, data, communication, and storage systems. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything. Technical Expertise: Recent experience in a tech support role, ideally within the media or tech industry. Proficiency in macOS, iOS, and Google Workspace. Familiarity with VC and AV systems. Experience with Active Directory, LANs, WANs, Wireless, TCP/IP principles, and VoIP. Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking Interpersonal and Organisational Acumen: Must be customer-service oriented with a focus on resolving support requests. Excellent communication skills adaptable to various contexts. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and open to change; quick learner. Ability to build relationships with diverse users and show empathy in sensitive situations. Effective time management and prioritisation.
