As a Council Tax Officer, you will join a friendly, knowledgeable team dedicated to ensuring the accurate billing of Council Tax for our client councils.

You will specialise in Council Tax and be responsible for managing a caseload which will include;
Ensuring accurate data input and processing of information
Handle customer enquiries and resolve cases in line with statutory regulations, policies, and procedures
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, local policies, and office procedures
These roles are based in Spalding, Boston, or Horncastle, and will support the Council Tax team across Boston Borough Council, South Holland District Council, and East Lindsey District Council.
We’re looking for people who:
Have experience in the Revenues and Benefits field, or who has some relevant experience and transferable skills.
Can interpret information and data, and are confident in making decisions
Have good communication skills
Can work quickly and accurately
Get satisfaction from problem solving
Have an eye for detail, specifically around data input.
Have strong ICT Skills.
Have a high standard of numeracy, literacy and accuracy.
Can deal sensitively with customers who may be vulnerable and/or emotional, and situations that maybe challenging.
Are exceptionally well-organised, dependable, and flexible.
Can work alone, or as part of a team
