Field Service Engineer - Machine Tool OEM
Location: Field-based - Predominantly South of England, but UK-wide travel required
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Benefits

The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll travel to customer sites across the UK, with a focus on the South of England, ensuring high-performance operation of advanced CNC machine tools. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Reactive & Preventative Maintenance - Diagnosing and fixing breakdowns to minimise downtime.
2. Machine Installations & Commissioning - Ensuring new equipment is set up and running optimally.
3. Servicing & Repairs - Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting complex issues.
4. Customer Training & Support - Advising engineers on best practices and machine operation.
5. OEM Training & Development - Receive world-class training, including visits to overseas sites.

What You Need
1. Apprentice-trained in an engineering discipline - Mechanical, electrical, or similar.
2. Hands-on maintenance experience - Machine tool or CNC knowledge beneficial but not essential.
3. Openness to learn - Willingness to develop new skills and adapt to new technology.
4. Comfortable with extensive travel & nights away - This role involves regular overnight stays.
5. Full UK driving licence - Essential for nationwide travel.
