The role will be to oversee the accounts department and be involved in the preparation of management accounts and end of year statutory audit pack for external auditors. This role comes with a highly competitive salary and is fully office based in Birmingham.
Job Description
1. Preparation of management accounts to target 10 working days
2. Preparation of audit pack for statutory auditors within 3 months of year end
3. Full balance sheet reconciliations
4. Weekly Cashflow Forecast
5. Analysis of management accounts for board
6. Reporting to board on variances in management information
7. Management of accounts team members
8. VAT returns
9. Oversee staff travel account for Directors
10. Overseeing all daily, weekly and monthly tasks for the department and ensuring timely completion
11. Mentoring of assistants within the department to further their career and develop their skills
Experience Required
The suitable candidate will be a strong leader with a finance background. You will ideally have travel industry experience; however, this is not essential. The suitable candidate will have an AAT or ACCA/CIMA qualification.
Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary up to £45K depending on experience plus excellent company benefits and the opportunity to join this great company!
