My Client based Portadown require a Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for 30 hours per week to cover maternity leave. The post may become permanent.
Duties:
* Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
* Answer all telephone calls
* Answer repeat prescription line
* General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
* Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required
* Duties will be allocated depending on the experience of the candidate and the needs of the practice and may centre around the telephone position

Essential Criteria:
* Proven experience in a similar role
* 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
* Fully computer literate
* Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
* Excellent communication & organisational skills
* Experience of complaint handling & resolution
* Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery/ Chemist) advantageous
30 hrs per week Mon, Wed 8.30am – 6pm, Thurs 8.30am – 1pm & Fri 8.30am – 6pm
£11.44 per hour
