We’re Hiring: ENW Logistics Engineer for Sizewell C
Are you an experienced Logistics Engineer with a passion for large-scale construction projects? If you're looking for a new challenge, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are seeking an ENW Logistics Engineer to join the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) team on the Sizewell C project. Sizewell C is a transformative 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station that will provide low-carbon electricity to 6 million homes for decades to come. This role offers the chance to contribute to a ground-breaking infrastructure project that will be pivotal to the UK's energy future.
As the ENW Logistics Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in managing the logistics requirements and processes for the Enabling Works Portion (ENW) of the project. This complex scope involves construction works at multiple sites across the UK, including critical components like the Material Bulk Import Facility (MBIF), Beach Landing Facility Jetty (BLF), and Temporary/Permanent Sea Defence. You’ll ensure seamless coordination across sites to optimise flows and delivery strategies, supporting a successful outcome for the project.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the ENW team to ensure logistics strategies are effectively communicated and implemented.
Assisting in the procurement of logistics packages and suppliers.
Monitoring the delivery programme and tracking progress against milestones, deadlines, and budgets.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned from previous projects.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with project team members.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A clear ability to communicate logistics requirements and procedures.
Experience working on complex operational and technical requirements, especially in large-scale construction projects.
Knowledge of logistics processes, ideally with a background in rail, port, or tunnel segmental logistics.
Proactive project management skills, including financial, risk, and change management.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to influence and develop effective networks.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and high-impact project. If you’re ready to make a difference and help deliver the Sizewell C project, we’d love to hear from you.
