The Value-Based Programs Lead supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Value-Based Programs Lead provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience.
The Value-Based Programs Lead job constitutes leading the transition of various value-based programs in development pipelines into an established sustainable operational framework.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensures that Operational, Financial and Compliance requirements of various Value-based arrangements are met and sustained over the life of a contract.
2. Bridges the gap of Value-based program pilots into their fully-operational phase, absorbing existing vendor relationships as they mature, partnering with existing relationship owners to create a smooth transition.
3. Develops and implements scalable processes that support the markets and vendor engagement for the program.
4. Engages with internal and external stakeholders to understand VB program performance.
5. Manages the development and review/measurement of program priorities.
6. Develops and manages program operational schedules, resources, deliverables, issues, and timelines throughout various projects with input from stakeholders and project teams.
7. Partners with and advises leadership and key stakeholders; operates independently to ensure deadlines are met by effectively planning, organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating with peer organizations.
This is an individual contributor role.
Required Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of Healthcare or Managed Care experience
2. 5+ years of Value-based care or payment strategy experience
3. 3+ years of Program Management experience
4. 3+ years of Relationship Management experience
5. 2+ years of Contract Management (Negotiation/Risk Management/Analysis) experience
6. Able to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues
7. Clear oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting and/or related field
2. Experience working with Specialty Value-based Design or Operations
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
