Job Summary
The Head of PCN Operations will lead the strategic and operational functions of the Primary Care Network (PCN). This role ensures the effective delivery of services, compliance with regulatory standards, and the achievement of performance targets. A critical focus will be on fostering collaboration and driving innovation to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders to drive collaboration.
* Oversee the operational management of services, including the Covid-19 and RSV vaccination programs and ARRS contracts.
* Lead workforce recruitment efforts and workforce planning initiatives.
* Monitor operational project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Manage complaints and lead investigations related to operational issues.
* Organise PCN and governance meetings to ensure effective communication and decision-making.
Person Specification
Experience
* Proven experience in operational leadership roles within healthcare.
* Expertise in workforce planning and project implementation.
Skills
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of IT systems and healthcare regulatory frameworks.
* Demonstrated understanding of OAF and IIF.
* Effective time management and organisational skills.
* Confident, adaptable, and capable of handling sudden demands.
* Demonstrates integrity and professionalism at a high level.
Qualifications
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
* Further qualifications in management or operations.
