Role Overview
Due to expansion, a new position has arisen for an assistant in the IT department. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you would be responsible for managing the new starters and leavers process, including ordering and maintaining hardware/laptops, and managing software subscriptions. You will also provide a more in-depth understanding of one or more of the Company’s main areas of operation, taking a more important role in these areas' transformation process.
What will you be doing?
1. Add, modify, and delete user access as part of the joiners/movers/leavers process, managing hardware and software registers.
2. Working with third party hardware and software vendors to fulfill changes to license and equipment requirements.
3. Working closely with the IT support desk to feedback on support calls and ongoing issues.
4. Support users with queries related to Microsoft 365 products and products from other vendors.
5. Assist with the creation and delivery of in-house training.

2. Work well both independently and as part of a team.
3. A passion for delivering an accurate and assured service.
4. Basic experience with MS Excel, Outlook, Word, MS Windows setup and configuration.
5. Keen to build a greater understanding of how the other departmental areas of the company function.
