Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Property Surveyor with RICS certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property assessment, valuation, and compliance, ensuring that all surveying activities meet the highest professional standards. Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess structural integrity and identify defects.
* Provide accurate property valuations in line with RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book).
* Prepare detailed HomeBuyer Reports, Building Surveys, and valuation documentation for clients.
* Ensure all surveying activities comply with RICS regulations and uphold ethical and legal standards.
* Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients, providing professional guidance.
* Identify property-related risks and propose appropriate remedial actions.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, building codes, and surveying best practices.
* Participate in continuous professional development to maintain RICS membership status.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Chartered Member (MRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
* Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying, Real Estate, or related field from an RICS-accredited programme.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in property surveying, with a proven track record of inspections and valuations.
* Proficient in surveying tools, reporting software, and general office applications.
* Strong analytical and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and client-facing experience.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
