Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing

As one of the UK’s leading firms of solicitors, we have a dedicated and experienced team who specialise in all matters relating to the Court of Protection.
This is a superb opportunity to join Partner Louisa Chadwick, who specialise in all areas of mental capacity and Court of Protection work with a primary focus on dealing with high value deputyships, as well as personal injury Trusts. The successful candidate will receive instruction from the deputy to support with, providing services to manage the property and affairs of individuals who have lost capacity due to either serious illnesses as a result of, for example road traffic accidents and injuries at birth or elderly clients who for example have developed illnesses such as dementia. You will work across multiple caseloads at any one time and have the autonomy to act on matters provided this is in line with the best interest of our client. Whilst Irwin Mitchell has a number of central leads from other departments, you may also get involved in business development opportunities, including converting warm leads into new business.
