We have an opportunity for a band 6 equivalent nurse to join our Public Health & Diagnostics Team. The post holder will work closely with the NHS Health Checks Operations Manager to ensure the service is delivered safely and meets quality requirements.
What is the role?
* Delivery of training for staff undertaking a health check – Fed internal team, Community Pharmacies & GP Practices as necessary
* Keeping Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) up to date / relevant
* Quality oversight and supervision of HCA’s undertaking checks
* Quality oversight of Pharmacies undertaking checks – through quality measures in subcontract which includes POCT (Point of Care Testing) devices and IQA/EQA arrangements
* Quality oversight of Practices undertaking checks – through quality measures in subcontract which includes POCT (Point of Care Testing) devices and IQA/EQA arrangements

Permanent Part time – 15 hours per week
