Job Title: Portfolio/Accounts Manager (with Audit Experience)
Location: Royal Tunbridge Wells (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Portfolio/Accounts Manager with some audit experience to join a reputable accountancy practice based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. This role involves managing a portfolio of 100-150 clients, with a focus of 80-90% on accounts and 10-20% on audit duties, including field audit management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial statements and reporting.
* Perform audit management duties, including planning, fieldwork, and review of audit files.
* Maintain and develop client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Work closely with senior management to streamline accounting processes and support team development.
Key Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with 2-7 years post-qualification experience.
* Strong background in accounts management and some exposure to audit (open to candidates who have not been involved in audit recently).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Hybrid working model: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote.
